Some important terms that are useful for b.sc nursing and all medical students which are:-

1.Anatomy :- 

Anatomy is the study of structure of the body .

2. Physiology:-

Physiology is the study of functions of the body.

 

3. Superior:-

Nearer to the head.

4.Inferior:-

Nearer to the foot.

5. Anterior:-

Nearer to the front.

6. Posterior:-

Nearer to the back

7. Medial:-

Nearer to the median line.

8. Lateral :-

Away from median line.

9. Proximal:- 

Nearer to the point of origin

10.Distal:-

Away from the point of origin.

11. Central:- 

Toward the center.

12. Peripheral:- 

Away from the center.
